Wow that whole IMPACT thing was just as big a waste of time this year as it was last year. It was funny to go, though. I resigned from my IMPACT position the day before, and went as a guest of someone. I guarantee I'll get an email from them next semester trying to get me to attend their stupid meeting to try and sell me on IMPACT. They aren't even smart enough to realize I was already part of it. Oh well. Time to go watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Why Must All The Good Pies Be Apple?

Why do monkeys get opposable thumbs? That doesn't seem very fair. We should be alone in that, so we can mock all the lesser animals. "Ha, I can pick this can up," we would say. But no, we don't get to be unique in that way. At least we don't throw crap at people. Well...most of us don't.

Into the Breach

So, in honor of the death of Christopher Reeve, I have changed my wallpaper to the nice Fatality picture from maddox. It only felt appropriate, given that this man was a plague on mankind. Can you feel the load lighten? I can't really either, but at least we're one asshole shorter today.

The more time I spend here at LeTourneau, the more I wonder what else is out there. I think I'm going to find a different college out there after this next semester, assuming I don't get kicked out. I did hear the RA offer up the possibility of my getting suspended or expelled for something that happens with frequency to/with me. I might move out west, or just screw the US entirely and take up some place in Europe. I have friends there who would help me get started up, then I can just let life take its course. The only reason I'm staying one more semester is because, quite frankly, Harmony told me to. Seems like a dumb reason, but it's the best I have. Don't look for me next year, you'll just hurt yourself.

Why Do Stupid People Continue To Thrive?

If Darwin was right, shouldn't we have phased all these morons out by now? The more time I spend here at LeTourneau, the more convinced I am that there is no intelligent life out there. If there were, they would have bombed us to Oz for queering up their end of the galaxy. It's all I can do to keep my head from exploding all over my room...then again Morrison might not appreciate having to handle that situation. Oh look, a penny.
